Hindi Story Telling Competition at GG International School




Imagination is the key to creativity and children can be trained in many ways to develop stronger skills of imagination. One of the ways is storytelling which teaches children about the world, provides real-world social interaction, and develops both knowledge and love for stories. With this view, GG International School organized an Inter- House Hindi Story Telling Competition for Classes I and II on 3rd September, 2013. A preliminary round was conducted in the respective classes and as per the criteria four children per section per house were selected from each class. Each participant narrated a beautiful story with a moral value. Students participated zealously and impressed the audience with their confidence. The activity helped the students to inculcate good moral values, enhance their vocabulary and speaking skills. 



The judges Mrs. Atinder Oberoi, Head of the Hindi Department; Mrs. Alka Gupta, a proud parent and Mr. Rajat Jain, Hindi teacher lauded the efforts put in by the by the students.  The participants from Class I Rishabh Gaud, of Abhimanyu House stood first, Salil Amrutkar, of Dhruv House stood second, and Vedika Iyear of Shravan House stood third.  The participants from Class II Tanushree Madhe of Eklavya House stood first, Parag Mittal of Abhimanyu House stood second and Pavit Chandoke of Shravan House stood third. Mrs. Atinder Oberoi expressed her feelings of pleasure by saying that the children were very enthusiastic and the way they expressed themselves was appreciable. She also appreciated the efforts put in by the parents and the teachers to help the children showcase their talent.
