A workshop for class XI and XII was organized on 25th Oct 13 Friday by Ms. Fehmida, who explained in a very appropriate manner, to what logical thinking means. She said that logical thinking helps one to discern the truth, solve problems, and make good decisions -- unless one’s logic is flawed. She gave a few principles that would help to ensure correct reasoning and an understanding premise.
She elucidated that logical thinking was the ability to solve problems and make smart decisions. This was done through multiple exercises to sharpen the brain through activities like solving puzzles, jigsaws, kakuro, Sudoku, Alpha triangle, Mensa puzzles etc. She further added that if one had to be a logical thinker, it would be lucrative to frequently play with puzzles such as Rubik cube, Neocube, Word Search etc...
The students were divided into two groups and exposed to many puzzles with guidance how to discern the correct answer from an incorrect one. This was very ingeniously solved by them. The speakers also guided the student community regarding the use of non verbal communication skill and drilled them with the confidence to communicate.
The students returned enriched with the tools of logical reasoning and thinking. They thanked the management for organizing such innovative workshops which would help them in grooming their personality and the ability to reason in a decisive situation.
