The
Under 17 football teams of GG International School, Pune had a fun filled
evening when they got free passes to watch a football match between Mohan Bagan
and Pune Football Club.
This
was the result of a deserving victory achieved by the Girls’ football team that
they had secured the free passes.
It
was a fun filled and energised evening when the boys and girls team cheered for
the players from the stands at the Balewadi Stadium which saw the victory of Pune
Football Club by a sweeping margin of 2-0.
It
was indeed a privilege to be seated in the main stands (stands D) to be watching
this event come live in front of their eyes.
The
teams were accompanied by the teachers of the sports department, namely Mr. Shashank
and Ms. Ekta along with a few parent volunteers.
It
was thrilling to watch the crowd cheer the PFC as the match was being held in
Pune so the home team was drawing a lot of support.
The
team members thanked their coach and Principal Sir for providing them with such
opportunities and practical exposure.
